You can export a report from the report list on the Reports Home screen or when viewing a report directly.
When you click the Export link or button, you have a choice of which format to export.
Click the Export Definition button to export the report as a Report Definition (XML).
When prompted by your browser, select Save File instead of Open.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If your browser does not prompt you to open or save an export, follow the steps below to change a setting in your browser.
In Internet Explorer, under the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
Choose the Security tab.
For Internet, click the Custom level... button.
The Security Settings window appears. Find the Downloads section.
For "Automatic prompting for file downloads", select Enable.
Click OK.
To import a report definition, you must have View & Manage Permission for a folder. Without this permission level, you will not be able to proceed.
To import an AlertBoot Report Definition:
Click the Import Report Definition button.
You will be prompted to choose a destination report folder for the imported report.
Select a destination folder from the dropdown list and click Continue.
On the next screen, browse your computer to find the saved Report Definition (XML). The XML file must be an AlertBoot Report Definition. Any other XML file will be rejected.
Click the Import button to import the report definition.
