Encryption policy enables you to set options for encrypting data and signing on after Power-On Authentication.
To set encryption policies for users in an AlertBoot-protected system:
Click Users/Machines
on the AlertBoot home page.
Click Setup
on the left navigation panel of the Users/Machines page, and then Encryption Policies option under Setup.
The Encryption Policy screen is displayed.
You can set the following encryption options to the end user:
Full Disk Encryption: This is a default option, where all the hard drives on a machine gets encrypted by AlertBoot.
USB Media Encryption: This is a universal option for the AlertBoot account. This option enables you to encrypt or share data to or from a removable USB drive or a memory stick.
Single Sign-On from Power-On Authentication: Select this option to enable alternate Windows user authentication to the system after the power-on authentication challenge.
Note:
An AlertBoot administrator can choose to enable or disable these options.
